Sergio and Katelynn Engaged

So this was a cold one…

no, I don’t mean beer.

If any alcohol, margaritas! It just so happens that Katelynn and Sergio met at the restaurant he owns! They spent countless hours working there together and talking after all the patrons had gone home, solidifying their relationship cleaning and hanging out at the register.

These two are so fun, a little goofy, a hoot honestly, seeing them in their element together and it was a fun time taking all these photos for them. This session was pretty last minute, but we got it all done! They even were able to get their fluffball out for a photo too! Obviously that was my favorite thing. Little guy was so floofy!

The restaurant is called Campo Azul and it’s cozy spot way out in Missouri Valley. Renovated from an old Pizza Hut chain building. While we didn’t eat anything there because it was closed and we weer a little busy getting the snaps, I bet it’s really good! Check out that menu. And honestly go anyway and leave a good review because these folks are good peeps.

This location was special to them, and that’s the best location for your engagement photos - where is special to you! Where did you go on dates, where did you meet, where you are most comfortable? The best advice is to treat your engagement session like you would a special date, do a fun activity, get some drinks and have a good time while your photographer captures the smiles! Yes, there’s some prompting, even some posing sometimes, but thats to make sure you look your best and you get the photos you want, even some you didn’t know you wanted.
