Kendal and Mike Engaged
Dark and moody, anyone?…
but still plenty of smiles!
We had to reschedule a couple of times because winter in Nebraska is weird, but at least we could do this session in late January! The idea was dark and moody, kinda Wednesday vibes. So we went to the outside of St Margaret Mary church, a brick and vine wall in Old Market, and for funsies a alcohol store, and then of course, Durham Museum for one of the best views of the skyline in town.
I guess I’m doing dark and moody shoots now more than often? Usually I do natural colors and more bright style, but this is fun too!
I truly believe that it is more fun, more fulfilling to be able to play with different styles than it is to just stick with one style and one preset pack forever. Sure it doesn’t make your IG feed all pristine, but it’s what scratches the creative itch, and more often than not it’s what the client wants. My style is defined more by just the exposure and preset settings.
These two are pros, really, like they made my job so easy - Kendal and Mike were such naturals, giggling and having fun the entire time. Can’t wait to hang out with them and capture their wedding later this year!
